On yet another train, this time to London heading down to Kingston to give my first ever conference opening keynote speech. No pressure there then *gulp*. Here is the view from first class...there are some perks then!

A whole week already, wow lol. Today was a science experiment day so N and L made environment batteries out of oranges. Cool.

Given the discussion I have been having with some online friends about food and planning meals and waste, I thought I would upload some pics of my rather overfull cupboards. New Year's resolution number 3 is to use up the stock pile and not buy quite so much from now on... We shall see!

2. Lovely, luscious lychees

Lex is obsessed with lychees, and living where we do there is plenty of scope for the consumption of lychee delights other than the fresh fruit itself. I am particularly partial to a can of fizzy lychee nectar myself, yummy.
